The origins of SnowEx® are very familiar to our customers. That’s because we spent years as snow and ice fighters before becoming a manufacturer. We’ve done our share of all-nighters. We’ve dealt with those dreaded 3:00 a.m. equipment breakdowns. Simply put, we’ve walked in your boots. And that unique perspective goes into the development of every solution we offer.
The history of SnowEx is a long list of innovations. Low-maintenance motor/transmission drive systems, v-box spreaders with corrosion resistant poly hoppers, a wireless-controlled utility spreader, the job-tracking Salt-Traxx™ system for hopper spreaders. That’s just the tip of the iceberg with what we’ve done … and what we will do … to give you more productive, longer lasting, easier to use equipment solutions.
With a wide range of spreaders, sprayers, plows and other related tools to fight snow and ice, SnowEx not only offers equipment you need to do the job – we offer something that perfectly fits your unique operation.
No engines. No pulleys. No sprockets. No belts. No chains. That’s what you’ll find (or, rather, won’t find) on all SnowEx granular spreaders. Our electric drives combined with our patented auger systems feature much fewer moving parts than competitive spreaders, meaning much less that can go wrong when you’re on the job.
We believe SnowEx equipment is the most reliable on the market. That’s nice, but it doesn’t mean much unless we’re willing to back it up. So, in 2001, we became the first to include a 2-year parts & labor warranty on all equipment. From that point until now, we’re doing much more than just claiming reliability … we’re guaranteeing it.
Thinking about getting into pre-wetting or direct liquid applications (DLA), but not ready to make the leap to a sprayer? The HELIXX is your answer. It’s a triple threat – with the ability to not only spread material, but also be upgraded to add pre-wet and DLA capabilities. Simply add pre-wet tanks, a pump and a spray kit and now you’re in the brine business. No other spreader on the market is this flexible.
This is how SnowEx plows were created!
The SnowEx® line of Light Truck snow plows provides all the features of our professional grade plows in a package designed specifically for Jeep® vehicles, SUVs and compact pick-ups. The plows meet vehicle weight requirements without having to sacrifice performance, allowing driveways and other tight areas to be cleared in no time.
For personal plowing or light-duty commercial snow plowing jobs using half-ton pick-ups, the SnowEx® 7600RD and 8000RD are engineered to meet vehicle weight ratings and deliver excellent performance. Built with stronger and lighter high-strength steel, the units are ideal for tough conditions while putting less stress on your truck than heavier snow plows.
For commercial contractors outfitting larger vehicles, only a heavy-duty snowplow will do…and the aptly named SnowEx® Heavy-Duty Series fits the bill. Powering ahead and rolling heavy snow farther with a 31"-tall steel blade, these plows feature a formed base channel that delivers extra stability. While vertical ribs, two angled Power Ribs and massive quad design provide added strength to prevent the blade from twisting, even under the most punishing winter conditions.
Move more snow with a snow plow that thinks for itself – the SPEEDWING 8600 from SnowEx®. Intuitive mechanical wings automatically adjust from scoop mode to windrow position as you angle the plow. By combining the ease of straight blade operation with the productivity of a winged snow plow, SPEEDWING clears big jobs fast to enhance your profits.
The SnowEx® adjustable-wing POWER PLOW offers the versatility to expand plow width by moving the wings outward (WIDE PASS) or increase capacity by angling the wings forward (BUCKET BLADE™) to match plowing conditions. A snow plow in compact mode for transport and narrow areas can quickly be expanded for extra wide plowing passes by simply pushing a button.
Give your utility vehicle professional-grade plowing performance by adding the SnowEx® UTV Straight Blade. The plow’s heavy-duty, yet lightweight design allows it to handle snowbound sidewalks, paved walkways and other tight areas with ease.

It starts with high strength, low alloy steel that doesn’t yield to the toughest conditions, while shielding your utility vehicle from unnecessary stress. The plows also feature six solid welded reinforcement ribs for maximum durability and robotically welded headgear helps ensure quality and consistency on every plow.
Don’t let their size fool you. The SP-100-1, SP-125-1, SP-225-1 and SP-325 tailgate spreaders offer big performance for smaller application needs. The SP-100-1 and SP-125-1 are designed to spread bagged ice melters and calcium chloride pellets up to 20 feet wide, while the SP-225-1 and SP-325 can spread bagged rock salt. All the utility spreaders are loaded with features that offer a level of sophistication that’s fit for snow and ice pros.
Every snow fighter is different. That’s why SnowEx® tailgate spreaders are available in several models. Each unit is purpose built to address a specific type of need. No matter what type of material is being spread, or how large of an area is being treated, SnowEx has a solution to get the job done while reducing material waste and requiring low maintenance.
Bulk up with the SP-1575-1 and SP-1875-1. These tailgate salt spreaders can handle pretty much any type of material, including bulk salt, sand and salt/sand mix. SnowEx® first developed this concept in 1999, so when you use one of these spreaders, you’re putting years of field-proven performance to work.
